Czech Republic vs England is the highlight of the sports betting action this week, which also includes Scotland vs Slovenia Nations League action plus DP World Tour Open de Espana and PGA Tour golf from Japan – all from Tuesday 6th October through to Thursday 8th October 2026.

We are at the end of the International Break with a final set of Tuesday games in the Nations League games across Europe. England vs Czech Republic in League A, Group 3 is 7:45pm kick-off live on ITV1. England’s record against the Czechs at Wembley is deep, but the home side have never been beaten, which will sound like music to Thomas Tuchel’s ears. We saw the same fixture play out in Prague last Tuesday where England won 2-0 through Second-Half goals from and Anthony Gordon and Harry Kane before the Three Lions hammered Croatia 7-0 at the weekend. Tuesday night also sees Croatia vs Spain in Group 3 at Stadion Poljud in Split.

Meanwhile, Tuesday 6th October at Hampden Park sees Scotland vs Slovenia at 7:45pm, live on BBC Two. These two fought out a 0-0 result a couple of Saturdays ago, and 2 previous games between them at Hampden Park have only seen a single goals in over 180 minutes of football. Backing unders on total goals markets could be the strategy on this one.

Midweek Football Fixtures, Tuesday 6th October (all times BST):

  • Nations League – 3pm: Kazakhstan vs Faroe Islands; 7:45pm: Croatia vs Spain (Amazon Prime), England vs Czech Republic (ITV1), Scotland vs Slovenia (BBC Two), Switzerland vs North Macedonia (Amazon Prime), Albania vs San Marino, Belarus vs Finland, Moldova vs Slovakia, Estonia vs Iceland, Luxembourg vs Bulgaria.

  • Women’s Champions League – 5:45pm: Hacken vs Juventus, Paris FC vs Arsenal, Roma vs Barcelona; 7:45pm: Benfica vs Bayern Munich, Lyon vs Chelsea.

Thursday 8th October sees the PGA Tour in Japan for the Baycurrent Classic. Played on a 7,322 yard, Par 71 – Yokohama Country Club – we saw this course for the very first time in 2025. However the Tour has visited Japan since 2019 for the ZOZO Championship and we know what to expect with huge crowds to cram onto this tight, parkland golf course. Some of the PGA Tour elite always travel to Japan and 2026 is no exception with 2025 inaugural winner and 2-time Major winner Xander Schauffele back to defend. It’s a quality field with Wyndham Clark, Rickie Fowler, Min Woo Lee, Collin Morikawa, Hideki Matsuyama, Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas all in attendance.

Thursday sees the DP World Tour play the Open de Espana presented by Madrid. In effect the Spanish Open – 2026 sees the tournament being played for the sixth consecutive year at the Club de Campo Villa de Madrid. This is undoubtedly the best field to play the Open de Espana in living memory, despite home hero and 3-time winner Jon Rahm withdrawing on Tuesday to leave Team Europe Ryder Cup colleagues Ludvig Aberg, Shane Lowry, Tyrrell Hatton and Justin Rose as the headline names. 2025 Open de Espana winner Marco Penge returns from Utah and the PGA Tour to play in field with real depth with notables including Eugenio Chacarra, Joe Dean, Thomas Detry, Sergio Garcia, Nicolai Hojgaard, Casey Jarvis, Thriston Lawrence, Tom McKibbin, Alex Noren, Jacob Skov Olesen, David Puig, Patrick Reed, Jayden Schaper, Andy Sullivan plus Bubba Watson.

Ladbrokes Maximum Payouts

One area that’s often overlooked when selecting which bookmaker to use is their maximum payout ceilings. The reason this matters is that each bookmaker sets their own daily limit by sport above which they won’t pay out any winnings, and these limits can and do vary massively.

Where this becomes relevant is typically for accumulator bets where small stakes can result in large payouts if you manage to get all legs correct. For horse racing this might be an each-way accumulator or lucky 15/31/63 type bet; for football this is more likely to be an 8- or 10-fold accumulator on the match result, for instance. Regardless of the style of bet, if you do hit the jackpot what you don’t want is to find that your winnings are capped simply because you placed your bet with the wrong bookmaker.

Here’s a summary of some key sports and Ladbrokes’ maximum payouts compared with some others in the market:

SportLadbrokes Max PayoutWorst Max Payout
Premier League£1,000,000£250,000 (888 Sport)
UK Horse Racing£1,000,000£100,000 (Unibet)
PGA Tour Golf£250,000£100,000 (BetVictor)
Men’s ATP Tennis£250,000£75,000 (888 Sport)
NBA Basketball£250,000£50,000 (Paddy Power)
NFL American Football£250,000£50,000 (Paddy Power)

2026 Sporting Calendar – Ladbrokes Coverage

2026 promises to be a huge year for sport with a whole host of major events to enjoy and, as ever, Ladbrokes will have every angle covered. Once the customary Christmas tradition that is the World Darts Championship has finished in early January, snooker takes the lead with its iconic Masters tournament, beginning on Sunday 11th January at the Alexandra Palace in London.

As usual, tennis fans have the four Grand Slams to get their teeth into, beginning with the Australian Open on Monday 12th January, followed by the French Open in late May, Wimbledon at the end of June, and the US Open in late August.

The PGA Championship follows in mid-May, and the US Open in June, before The Open Championship returns to Royal Birkdale on Thursday 16th July for four days of world-class links golf on the Lancashire coast.

In cricket, the spotlight is on the shorter formats once again, with the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup taking place in India and Sri Lanka during February and March. The Women’s T20 World Cup also arrives later in the year, hosted in England and Wales from June to July, providing plenty of international action for cricket fans.

Horse racing followers have the Cheltenham Festival to look forward to from 10th–13th March, with the Grand National taking place on Saturday 11th April at Aintree. Then it’s on to The Derby at Epsom, followed by Royal Ascot from 16th–20th June and Glorious Goodwood later in the summer.

Rugby fans will have their eyes on the Six Nations Championship, kicking off on Thursday 5th February, while Formula 1 followers can mark Sunday 5th July for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.

And then, of course, comes the biggest show of all – the football World Cup. Taking place from June 11th to July 19th across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, it will be the first ever to feature 48 teams, promising an expanded, high-octane tournament. England will aim to build on their recent strong performances, while Scotland and Wales will be pushing for qualification. With matches hosted in iconic venues from Los Angeles to Mexico City, it’s set to be a truly global festival of football that will dominate the sporting summer before the new domestic season kicks off in August.

Football fans closer to home also have plenty to enjoy, with the League Cup Final on Sunday 22nd March, the FA Cup Final on Saturday 16th May, and the Champions League final on Saturday 30th May.

Ladbrokes Promo Code Football 2026/2027 Season

The fixtures have been published for the 2026/27 Premier League season and football punters all across the world will be licking their lips in anticipation of what’s sure to be another exciting campaign.

Arsenal have been installed as the favourites with Ladbrokes to win a second successive Premier League title, and what would be a fifth overall since the EPL was formed in 1992.

With Bukayo Saka fit and healthy once again and coming off the back of a hat-trick against France to round of his World Cup exploits, Declan Rice supplying pin-point balls into the box, and Kai Havertz offering some quality up front, it may take a huge effort for any other team to step in their way.

Yet we should never write off Manchester City given their undoubted quality, and Liverpool will want to have a big say in how the season unfolds, as will Manchester United who improved massively as last season unfolded.

The fight for the title, Champions League spots and European football will be fierce, however at the other end of the table there will be a titanic battle for Premier League survival.

Coventry, Ipswich and Hull are the newly promoted teams, with last year’s Championship winners Coventry returning to the Premier League for the first time since 2001. Ipswich and Hull have tasted top-flight action more recently than that, with the Tractor Boys bouncing back from their relegation with automatic promotion last season, and the Tigers returning to the top division for the first time since 2017 via the play-offs.

All three are amongst the favourites for relegation, yet with the likes of Sunderland, Crystal Palace and even Fulham not assured of safety, it will be fascinating to see how the 2026/27 EPL season unfolds.

Ladbrokes will, as ever, have a multitude of outright and individual match markets available for betting upon when the action starts on Friday 21st August, with champions Arsenal taking on Coventry in front of the cameras.

Gameweek 5 fixtures are as follows:

Friday 18th September:

  • Brentford vs Chelsea

Saturday 19th September:

  • Tottenham vs Aston Villa
  • Brighton vs Arsenal
  • Everton vs Ipswich
  • Newcastle vs Hull
  • Nottingham Forest vs Coventry

Sunday 20th September:

  • Bournemouth vs Liverpool
  • Leeds vs Crystal Palace
  • Manchester City vs Sunderland
  • Fulham vs Manchester United

Ladbrokes Offers 2026 - How To Maximise

Ladbrokes have always been well known in the online sports betting and gaming sector for being particularly generous when it comes to the size of their free bets and welcome bonuses. By offering new customer welcome promotions across Sportsbook, Casino, Live Casino, Bingo and Poker, there’s a depth of coverage that few other brands can offer. Ladbrokes utilise a promo code for their headline Sportsbook new customer offers. All other new customer promotions are available promo code free. That is a new departure for Ladbrokes, who up until now have always utilised promo codes when becoming a new customer. The new ease of being able to access the new customer promotion of your choice when it comes to registering and receiving your new customer promotion also comes across in Ladbrokes’ consistency of promotion and the way new customers access them. Quite simply you will not find a better offer elsewhere online, as Ladbrokes offer the same Sportsbook free bet promotion to all.

Promo Code-Based New Customer Promotions

Ladbrokes has always used promo codes across its new customer offers for sports betting. Today their headline Sportsbook offers – there are a couple to choose from – still use a promo code to access. All other Casino and Bingo promotions are promo code free. All of the current Ladbrokes new customer promotions are available to view in the table at the top of this page.

New Product Promotions for All

Ladbrokes are happy for existing customers to use all of their free bets and deposit bonuses available. The term ‘Brand New Customers Only’ is something that you will not find in Ladbrokes terms and conditions. So customers who originally sign-up via the Sportsbook free bet new customer promotion can then access the Ladbrokes Casino Welcome Bonus and so on. It’s actively encouraged by the London-based bookmaker, who simply want their customers to be satisfied and continue playing with them into the future.

Now this clarity of all free bets and promotions for each customer needs to be put in perspective. Free bets and welcome bonuses are nothing new – the online betting and gaming industry is awash with them, but what turns Ladbrokes into the global powerhouse they are is that their promotions are not only generous, but they are easy to use and are available to all. Plenty of Ladbrokes’ rivals restrict their promotions for new customers to the first deal they sign-up to. So if you sign-up via a sports free bet and then weeks or months down the line want to play online casino with the same company, you won’t be able to access a casino welcome bonus.
